This work has three elements that have been integrated into the building and landscape design plan from the concept stgae in late 2011
/ Auckland Council Project for a new library on Waiheke island
in collaboration with PACIFIC Environments/architect and SOUL Environments/landscape design
composed with a number of book-spine forms, having lettering 'forty nine letters' (refer to the concept of lettering) laser cut-out metals on many vertical wooden fins shaped by the same wave pattern as the facade, that would mitigates the wind when needed
Part two / relief on pavement
circled lettering 'and land' (refer to the concept of lettering) metal inlaid on the surface of the pavement, begins from the entrance area of the complex, and lead to the foyer floor of the building
Part three / Book-spine Wind Shield
textured the face of the building structure/board & batten by setting the battens on the side edge with the wave line, and cut-out the lettering 'forty nine letters' (refer to the concept of lettering)
